NOVY Restaurant

Great spot in Noe Valley! Family owned and run, I love the presentation of the food, and the portions were perfect!I got the eggs benedict and was really satisfied by it! Definitely coming back here when I get the chance!

My new favorite restaurant!! The food is AMAZING and the restaurant itself nice and casual. Only complaint is the staff could be better attentive to patrons but regardless I will be coming back for the food because it’s that good!!

Had an 'Ok' experience. Hummus was good. (Unrelated to the meal, I like the creativity with the indoor lights! Unique!)

I used to eat here all the time back in the day when NOVY was Panos. NOVY is run by the children of the folks who operated Panos, and they've done a great job of making the menu contemporary and fresh. I love the chicken wrap and the penne with ragu. Friendly staff and breezy atmosphere make this place one of my go-to's for lunch (I work on 24th 'street). I hope they're around as long as Panos was!

First visit. Lunch was good, planning to go again.

Generous carafe of mimosa for $30. Omelette and huevos rancheros were generously portioned as well. Good service. Surprisingly not busy at 11 on a Saturday.

Novy was delightful! It was a busy day (Saturday) but all the staff were attentive and kind. Our food was prepared in a decent amount of time. I really enjoyed my smoked salmon tartine, and the shrimp and grits was great too.

I had the lamb burger and it was quite tasty!

The food is really yummy, but the service not so much. Maybe a refresher on customer service skills required.Arrived and was waiting for 2 friends. Pretty much ignored. The 2 on duty staff were cleaning up tables, resetting and checking in with other tables that were eating or finishing meals. Really doing anything else except checking in to see if I wanted a drink or order. It wasn't even busy. Not sure what the issue was, another local customer mention they had had similar experiences.

Food is very salty and quality and portion size are mediocre for the price.

Wonderful restaurant in Noe Valley! I’ve only been for brunch but it’s always busy when I walk by. The food is very delicious, the staff is friendly and I highly recommend it. There’s an outside patio if you prefer that and people sometimes have their dogs sitting under the table with them.

My dog owner recommended this place as I was with him near noon time as I dropped him off at his home. Asked where to have lunch. Said go to Novy -his favorite restaurant!! My friend and I had lunch there -to die for!!definitely want to go back and get an Entree next time. We shared 3 appetizers and all delicious and more than enough!! Loved everything about the food and place and will return!

Great Greek food. Super friendly staff. One of my favorites in Noe. The appetizers are especially good. I also really like the Sangria there, not Greek maybe, but really good.

Not bad, good out door dog seating. The chicken wrap could use more sauce and flavor generally. I'd go again but would not sell it out.

My wife and I arrived at 12:15 at Novy Restaurant. We ordered a salad and a chicken wrap that we were going to share and ice tea. The ice tea and salad came promptly. From then on we were ignored. After 20 minutes I flagged a person down and mentioned that we were still waiting on our wrap. We watched everyone around us getting served. 25 minutes later still no wrap. We canceled the order, the check appeared. NO one ever apologized for our one hour total of waiting. We were invisible. We live in the neighborhood and have seen the quality of the food and service rapidly decline.

Second visit to this neighborhood restaurant. This time it was the shrimp pasta! Absolutely delicious...so good, I forgot to snap a picture, in fact! Worth a try if you’re in Noe Valley

My wife and I visited May 2019. On our last night we elected to try NOVY. Both being pasta lovers we viewed the menu prior to arriving and had our selections already picked. There was a slight wait when we arrived, but were greeted warmly by the staff and able to grab a drink while we waited. (it was a little chilly out but there are nicely placed tables for outside seating) Once seated our server was very helpful when I asked for a recommendation between the special and the Lamp bolognese. I was persuaded and I'm glad! Overall it was a great memory of our visit to San Francisco and would encourage anyone in the area to try.

Their Lamb gyro eggs Benedict is bomb! Savory and rich and delicious! Smoked salmon benedict is also classic and nice! I tried their Greek white wine and it was dry and well balanced!

I tried to make a reservation at NOVY the day of but there was no confirmation. Despite that, we were seated very quickly and our service was good. There were a few too many strollers blocking access to walkways and seats, but the service was really good. I'd strongly recommend a reservation for brunch

Great Mediterranean food in a relaxed, casual atmosphere. From apps to salads, from main course to dessert, the food is fresh and delicious! Great, friendly service, too!

Outstanding scene for tasty Greek food. Got there near six, it wasn't packed at all. Nothing but enjoyable experiences here. Prices were average for the menu. Menu is like a cafe in Boston I liked.

Excellent gluten free Cobb salad. They happily substituted goat cheese for the blue cheese (since I don't like blue cheese).

Lamb souvlaki was overdone and dried out, but everything else was wonderful. The crispy polenta appetizer was creative and delicious. I will return and specify medium-rare lamb next time.

I’ve gone to Novy quite a bit for lunch and dinner. Recently had their brunch and that was great too. The staff is always attentive and friendly and have thoughtful recommendations.

You need reservations to get in. This place is always full due to the quality of the food prepared here. The staff is friendly & the service is great. We got our food pretty quick.

Great Cioppino special. Perfect crispy polenta. Will go back for sure, hopefully on a less busy night so we get propper service.
